Dance Pro Convention takes pride in bringing you a world class faculty that is dedicated to teaching teachers!

We are excited to announce our two headline presenters for 2011:

Gregg Russel

Gregg is an Emmy nominated choreographer who has worked with: Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers, Michael Jackson, Gregory Hines, John Lithgow, Kenny Ortega, Savion Glover. You may have seen him on television in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “The Tonight Show”, and the GAP national commercials or his choreography on hit soap opera “Bold and the Beautiful”. Gregg was featured on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine as an entrepreneur who directs his own tap company, “Tap Sounds Underground” and directs the corporation 3D Dance Network, Inc.

Calen Kurka

Currently on faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York, Calen has taught across Canada, the US, in Japan & Ireland. He also teaches for Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. Calen appears in the Live! at Broadway Dance Center video series “Turns and Turn Combos” & “Floor Work with Calen Kurka & Chris Hale”.  As founder and Artistic Director of  :pushing progress a company, Calen continues his journey as artist, instructor and choreographer and hopes to inspire, and be inspired by, those who so honestly give of their talent and of themselves.

Each member of our international cast of presenters has an impressive resume of professional experience and a wealth of knowledge to share with Dance Pro participants.
